It deserves its 4 stars. Check in was quick, staff was friendly. Private bathroom with all essentials. Hotel's shuttle was a nice bonus too.

Great breakfast, friendliness of staff, room was very nice.

The location is horrible- in order to even get to Station Square, you have to go thru a questionable part of town-run down, vacant buildings, no lighting. It also would've been nice if I was informed when I checked in that a $35 "incidental " fee would be added to my credit card, then supposedly removed after 3-5 days. I'll wait to see if that happens. However, when my rapid checkout bill was different from the alert from my credit card company, and the front desk couldn't explain why, I have to question this practice. And I might add that there was a woman in front of me checking out with the same issue - she was told it must be her credit card because there was no extra charge in the hotel's computer. Terrible.

Love the pillows! Great shower and suite was quite nice. Very quiet as well, an extra bonus. Hate noisy hotels. Jess at front desk was very helpful with my Uber questions, I'm an Uber newbie. Decent cup of coffee for breakfast with my omlette. Shuttle driver was friendly and only took about ten mins to drive us all to PNC park and told us where to walk from the drop off (roads were closed, not his fault). I'm happy the hotel offered the shuttle, nice bonus.

The staff was sincerely friendly and professional. I felt like I was a valued guest. Without exception, the staff did everything they could to help us feel welcome.
In our first room, the bathroom smelled like mildew. Apparently, it came from the shower curtain. The sink was completely stopped up. Water wouldn't drain at all. The toilet seat was so fragile, and nearly broken, that if anyone sat on it, I'm sure it would have broken off. The smell of our first and second room was off-putting. Both rooms smelled like vacuum cleaner dust...like the vacuum bags were full and spewed the dust smell in the rooms.

Clean room Helpful staff Reasonable rate Good breakfast bar Shuttle service
The hotel charges guests to park their car. Unbelievable!!!
-
The hotel was close to everything we wanted to do.....shuttle driver was awesome and it was nice not having to drive
After a long day in the city and finally settling in we realized we had no towels only 2 wash cloths and 2 hand towels and we didnt have any bedding for the pull out sofa so my husband was not happy about making a trip to the front desk to get these items at 11 at night

The breakfast was more than adequate.
The girl at front desk was not terribly knowledgeable but I think she was new

Great location and views.
Requested a different room than they gave me and the staff was snooty about it. 1st room had not been cleaned at all. 2nd room had been "cleaned" however it was done poorly. Good thing I brought my own pillow and blanket.

Clean, close to the tenth st bridge
Never choose the room beside the elevator, too noisy! Especially room117! It is not only beside the elevator but also beside the entrance of Inn for the parking lot. And maybe for the U.S Open these days, there was no extra room to exchange !

The staff were friendly and VERY helpful. Location is almost dead center between Station Square and South Side Works, two places we frequent when going to da 'Burg. The shuttle service at the hotel will take you to both places so you don't have to worry about parking at either place plus you won't lose your parking spot at the hotel. We didn't have any issues with the shuttle service. The FREE breakfast is actually good. Lots to choose from. Just make sure you put your plate at the right side of the automatic pancake maker or your pancake will hit the counter top. Yes, I did that but gimme a break, it was early and I didn't have my coffee yet. The room was spacious and clean. We will definitely be back!!!
Three issues...one is the small parking lot behind the building. Check in early so you get a spot. Second issue...the hotel itself is not to blame but hopefully you will benefit from this...when you enter the front to check in please drive in as far as you can before you park. There isn't much room in front and someone didn't do that and only two cars got in and I didn't so I had to make a trip around the block so I didn't block traffic on 10th Street. Last issue was the internet...it's definitely not high speed. Fastest download between 4 devices was on my laptop which I hooked to the ethernet cable at the desk and it was only 2.86 MB/s!!! Not very fast at all. The wireless topped out at 2.1 MB/s @ 12:45 AM!! Thankfully we had great weather and weren't in the room much cuz streaming any kind of media would've been impossible.

We loved the indoor pool and the central location. Breakfast was good but lacking in fresh fruit (could have been the time of year). We would definitely plan another trip. Our 1 year old loved it but was scared of the bath tub.

Came in for a Doctor's appointment. The location was convenient Facility was clean and most of the staff was polite and helpful.
Signs in several places stated there were vending machines available. After wandering around the hotel for quite some time, I discovered there were no vending machines and I had to walk to the lobby to get something to drink.

The friendly, helpful, and responsive staff. The shuttle bus was great, because driving in Pittsburgh is difficult for a non-native, like myself.

The bed was very comfortable, it only took a few minutes to get places, shower was awesome!
Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner
